‘Harvest to Goodness’ farmers’ market goes to Forbes Town this weekend!

The third leg of the Harvest to Goodness weekend market, which took place at Uptown Mall in Uptown Bonifacio over the weekend, was a huge success as shoppers enjoyed a wide range of fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, meat products, and other food choices in a much safer shopping environment.

The initiative, spearheaded by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls in partnership with Resto PH and Department of Agriculture, will now be moving to Forbes Town (across Burgos Park & Tipsy Pig in Bonifacio Global City) this weekend, September 11 to 13.
You can check out more of the homegrown produce and farm-to-table food choices straight from the farmers courtesy of Resto PH partner restaurants.

Curbside pickup is also available at the venue. Shoppers will only have to contact and arrange their transactions in advance directly with the farmers and vendors, then claim their orders at designated pickup locations. The contact details of participating farmers and stalls are posted on the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Viber communities, Facebook page, and website.

Cashless personal deliveries for food purchases from participating restaurants can also be made via LalaMove and Mr. Speedy.

To ensure safety, the weekend market implements government-mandated health and safety protocols such as mandatory temperature checks, footwear and hand sanitation, wearing of face masks and face shields, and strict observance of physical distancing.

The Harvest to Goodness event kicked off at Eastwood City in July, then moved to McKinley Hill for its second leg, before finally coming to Uptown Bonifacio during the previous weekend.

The market has provided a viable venue for farmers, fisherfolk and Filipino-owned restaurants to showcase and market their products.

Through this partnership, Resto PH members have also gained direct access to farmers, producers, and fisherfolk, who now supply ingredients to them.

At the Harvest to Goodness weekend farmers’ market, Resto PH members are offering special menus featuring farm-to-table dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. Participating restaurants include Mango Tree, Genki Sushi, Pizza Express, and Scout’s Honor, among others.
